There was some initial critical concern whether this band could replicate the studio perfection of Tom Sholz live, on stage. This video proves they were/are one of the best live bands ever! AND, I didn't realize how awesome a bass player Fran Sheehan was! It's like he channels John Entwistle at times!!

Can we PLEASE talk about how incredible Brad Delp’s voice was. Folks there’s not auto tune here to save your butt. This is pure magic and voice skill. Absolutely amazing. The genius of Tom Sholz shows in this songs complexity for sure.

Saw them on this tour…March 15 “79” Chicago Stadium. Montrose opened for them.

Its amazing how great music like this was the norm when I was growing up in the late 60 and 70s- I took it for granted back then.
